The River-Lab Program relies on the support of volunteers to function at every level. Volunteer commitments are flexible and vary in length.
Volunteers:
- Act as guides on class study-trips for grades 3-6;
- Receive simple training in just a few hours to prepare for the 1 ½ hour trips;
- Lead their children and others through a hands-on educational experience with a small time commitment;
- Support local schools; and Help the environment while spending time outdoors.
